The raider team is an action/adventure team that is based on physical fitness. It requires each member to pass a physical. The team competitions consist of a Physical Fitness Test, Cross Country Rescue, Rope Bridge Obstacle Course, and Map Reading Test. There is a male and female team consisting of 8 members each which competes at district raider competitions.

The drill team is an armed precision marching unit that performs routines based on military drill. Select squads of eight members and a commander compete at district drill competitions, not excluding a platoon of twelve members and a commander of which competes as well.

The color guard renders honor when the national anthem is played or sung, when passing in review during a parade, or in certain other circumstances such as football games and basketball games. In addition, a few select teams are chosen to compete at district drill competitions.

The exhibition team is a drill-based team. It is the most creative and modified drill of the JROTC selections; the "throwing" of the rifles so to speak. Although it seems easy, it is based on precise movements in a creative routine completely made by the commander.

The honor guard is a team that was designed to show respect and improvement in discipline. It may be the smallest, but only those that have soldierly appearance and superior discipline are chosen to be on it
